after a 20 years break

Ball is back – In 1974 in Rimini, Aldo Ciavatta, with his well-known and respected reputation, chose to become self-employed and create something great, building on his years of experience, learning, and his vast network in the retail market.

Besides being an experienced and well-known actor in the jeans market, Aldo Ciavatta is also recognized as a very skilled, creative, innovative, and successful businessman, and this combination allowed Aldo to create history and bring “BALL” to life.

Aldo was greatly fascinated especially by the American university universe , and all his projects were based on and ispired by the American style, especially college sports such as polo, cricket, and baseball.

“Ball” quickly became a huge succes in Italy, and its success rapidly grew and spread throughout the rest of European within a few years.

 

Since 1976, “BALL” was launched in Scandinavia by two friends, both named Hans. The friends set out on a quest for happiness in Norway, after all suddenly one day, a huge chain of stores decided to acquire the brand, but certainly marked a turning point in the journey of the two friends.

In the years that followed, “BALL” grew enormously and quickly became well-known in the Scandinavian fashion industry.

During 1983, “BALL” introduced the first printed sweatshirt in Europe, marking a significant innovation in the fashion industry at the time

1998, Mr. Hans Gerhard Svarverud, who had become the only owner, passed away, and the company closed down a few years late

2020 “BALL®” is back!

After a break of 20-year, BALL® is back. Months of research and the examination of hundreds of old class photos, photo albums from the years between 1976 and 1996, and vintage styles have made it possible to recreate BALL®’s unique identity.

With the help of designers, stylists, and experts, the BALL® team has been able to recreate and modernize the unique fit and distinctive cut and has created a BALL® jeans collection with more attitude than ever.

Relaunch of BALL® jeans is a high-quality denim collection aimed at those who truly care about jeans.

Sweatshirt – Ball is Back

Finally the classic BALL® sweatshirts have also undergone a transformation through updates and redesigns as result, the bold design of the ’80s has been given new life once again. It’s a collection full of attitude moreover character that revives Europe’s first printed sweatshirt in a new and evolved version.
