DK COMPANY
Founded in 2001 in Ikast, Denmark, DK Company is now one of Europe’s leading fashion suppliers. With over 2,400 employees and a network of 450 retail stores, the company continues to grow and expand its presence in the fashion industry. In addition to its headquarters in Ikast, the company operates through two additional divisions located in Vejle and Copenhagen.
History
DK Company was founded by Jens Poulsen in 2001. From the beginning, the company developed its own brand, Jasmin, and offered private label production services for external fashion brands.
In 2012, the company acquired three divisions from BTX Group, including the following brands:
- Young Division: Blend, FQ1924, ICHI, Gestuz, Blend She
- Modern Division: Fransa, b.young, Dranella, Veto
- An additional Modern division
In 2014, the company further expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of four brands from IC Group: InWear, Matinique, Part Two, and Soaked in Luxury.
In 2019, it acquired the brands Saint Tropez, Solid, and Tailored & Originals. Saint Tropez was integrated into the Copenhagen office, while Solid and Tailored & Originals became part of the Vejle division.
Today, DK Company continues to grow and innovate, offering quality fashion throughout Europe and establishing itself as a benchmark in the fashion industry.
In 2001, Badii Fashion Group was the first agency to bring a Danish brand to Italy, launching the Danish Group’s platform with the “BLEND” brand. Today, Badii Fashion Group is the Italian Master Agency for “BLEND,” “BYOUNG,” “CASUAL FRIDAY,” “FRANSA,” “ICHI,” and “SOLID” of the DK Company Group.
